Look at the four words and choose the odd one out.
There might be more than one correct answer depending on the reason for choosing the word.

Directions for Caregivers:
There might be more than one correct answer, which is fine, as long as you can give a reason for choosing the word.
If possible aim to involve participants of equal cognitive ability in the group, in order to give everyone a chance to take part, not just the fast thinkers.
Say the words in each group of four aloud, or write them on a whiteboard. Ask the participants to give a reason for choosing a particular word.
Early and middle-stage memory care/dementia.
If you would like to simplify the game, use three of the word instead of four if necessary. Cross one out in each group of four.
