Doing Math Calculations is a Good Way to Keep the Brain Active.
Short Description:
Solve the math challenges either in your head or write them down and calculate as you go.
Either way, it will give you good brain exercise.
There is an easier level with addition and subtraction and a harder level with added division and multiplication.
Start from the left and work your way along, then write your answer in the box on the right (disregard the order of operations for this activity).

Can you do mental calculations?
If you want to make it easier, supply a pen and a blank sheet of paper so that you or the person you are with can write down and calculate step by step.
Or, you can use a calculator. That is good exercise for the brain too.

Due to current circumstances that we’re facing today, it’s been challenging trying to find ways to keep our seniors active and healthy. For example, the majority of everything we’re doing is done online. However, not all seniors have and/or know how to work the internet. Coming up with small but effective take-home crafts has been my focus. However, I was able to share different things like the scenic videos that were so relaxing and beautiful to look at. Maria’s Place has helped tremendously! Kudos to you Maria!
