A New Perspective

You know that feeling when you get a pit in your stomach when something doesn’t go right, when a thought just doesn’t feel right or when you fear or worry about something? Well, I am here today to offer a different perspective to this uncomfortable feeling we all experience in life regularly.

The concept of pivoting. What if this feeling we get is actually our body warning us that there is something that we actually WANT? What if, instead of dwelling on how bad it feels, we think: “Wow, my body is telling me that there is something different that I want from this situation- what is the opposite of this situation? Is this what I actually want?” Then start thinking about what you do want instead of what you don’t want.

This can apply to any situation in the world, and it is just a shift in perspective. What we all really want deep down is to feel good and for good to surround us. By shifting a “bad” feeling situation into a better feeling situation by recognizing what we DO want in any situation, we start to feel better. When we feel better, our actions are more in line with feeling good, and outcomes usually improve.
