Stick Figures, Creative Drawing

Fun Art Activity

About this Activity

Do you Remember Drawing Stick Figures as a Child?

Well, here is your opportunity to let that imagination loose! You can use a circle for the head and straight lines for the body and limbs to make your stick figures or use our templates with ovals drawn on them to start you off.

Make them into people, animals, monsters, or any fantastical creatures you can think of. Try not to copy the characters in the examples below; they are just there to trigger the imagination.

If you are with another person, you could as him or her to make a pose and try to draw the arms and legs as you see them.

It’s a good idea to draw your legs, eyes, etc., of the stick figures with a pencil first and then fill the lines in with a marker. That way, you can easily change your designs around if you are not completely happy.

Try to make your characters do different actions. Running, walking, waving, etc.
There is no right or wrong way to do this; just have fun.
