Hummus Dip

Great for Digestive Health!

Supply List:

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Pinch of salt
  • Ground cumin
  • 1 can chick-peas
  • Paprika to decorate
  • Cucumber to dip

Directions for Caregivers:

Make it together, cut sticks of cucumber or carrots, dip into hummus, and enjoy!

This is great party food!

Join in with the making of the hummus.

If the person you are with is not able for this step, dipping the cucumber into the hummus and eating it is enjoyable too!

Put lemon juice and tahini into a blender and blend for 1 minute.

Add olive oil, garlic, salt, and ground cumin and blend for 30 seconds.

Add the can of chickpeas (drain off the liquid first) and blend a further 30 seconds.

Place the hummus into a serving dish and decorate with a sprinkle of paprika.

Cut sticks of cucumber, dip into hummus, and enjoy!
