About this Activity

Tip for making the hearts stand out from the background.

Paint them in a dark color and paint the fields around them in lighter shades. Or the other way around.

Don’t forget to paint the background in this coloring activity; it will really lift the look of the finished picture.

Creative activities can help to reduce stress, improve memory and cognitive functioning, provide a sense of purpose and belonging, as well as help with motor skills.

For older adults who are living in residential care facilities, participating in art activities can also provide an opportunity for social connection.
