Work together to find and cross out the pairs of letters and determine the odd letters out. Make as many words as you can by rearranging and using some or all of those letters.

Early and middle-stage dementia.

For caregivers, as a one-on-one matching activity, if you need to simplify the exercise, point out one letter at a time and search together to find the match. Cross them out as you find them, and you will be left with four letters without a match.

For part two, make as many words as you can with these letters. You might write the letters large on a separate sheet, cut them out, and rearrange them to form words using all or some of them.
