Short Description:
Unscramble the anagram letters to make words relating to footwear.
If you are with another person and want to make this activity easier, underline the first letter of the correct answer in each clue.
Directions for Caregivers:
Print out the worksheet and do it together.
Do some reminiscing about shoes. What is your favorite type? Have shoe fashions changed since you were young?
Simplify by underlining the first letter in the word.
You may have to give hints by giving the second or third letter in a word and say the first part aloud to trigger an answer.
This is a nice activity for groups of similar cognitive abilities.
Use a whiteboard and a wipeable marker and write the scrambled letters of the words one at a time.
Have a chat about how shoes change with fashion trends through the years.
